The :pulse scoops award at IBC 2014

PrintWe’re back from IBC. Sore feet? Check. Sore throat? Tick. Tired? Yep. Hungover? Slightly. Inspired? YES, YES, YES What a great few days we’ve had in Amsterdam. We always say it, but wow, what a show. We work in such a fast-paced industry and the technology and capabilities that are being developed are simply mind-blowing. It was massively inspiring to be surrounded by so much innovation. As you can probably tell, we’ve returned back enthused, inspired and Buddy HQ is literally about to burst with all the new ideas we’re brainstorming. So as ever,  we’re throwing ourselves into preparing for new projects and more adventures. We’ll be sharing these with you as soon as we can via this news page. But for now the big (make that huge) news we have to share with you all is… the :pulse won its first ever award while we were at IBC. Yes, the :pulse may only have been launched at IBC last week but it’s already causing a stir. Our new multi-functional timecode and metadata hub caught the attention of the TVBEurope judges who came to visit us at the Timecode Systems stand. We were delighted  to receive a NewBay Media Best of Show Award from TVBEurope and haven’t stopped grinning since they turned up at our stand with the certificate. We’re chuffed. Throughout the development of Timecode Buddy, we’ve been keen not to take any shortcuts in order to develop a system that truly represents a new generation in syncing timecode and metadata using WiFi and RF. Our mission has always been to create products that open up genuinely new possibilities for the broadcast industry. Winning awards like this confirms we’re moving in the right direction. Thank you TVBEurope.
