10 things you might not know about Timecode Systems

Are you new to the world of timecode? Perhaps you’ve followed us through word of mouth, and want to know more? Here’s a little round up of 10 things that you may not know about our company.

1. We’re based in the UK

We’re a British company, with our headquarters based in Worcestershire, UK. We also manufacture our products within the country too. Learn more about our history here.

2. ‘Master’ or ‘Slave’? Our products do both!

All of our devices are transceivers, which means they can become either the ‘master’ or slave’ within a workflow. This includes the newer UltraSync ONE. Not sure what this means? We’ve got it covered in our Sync Smart tutorial.

3. Our products have dual LTC outputs

Our devices (excluding the SyncBac PRO) can be used to output two LTC signals at the same time, for shoots where the camera and sound recorder are within easy reach of one another.

4. BLINK Hub is free!

That’s right, our BLINK Hub application doesn’t cost a penny. Find out more and download the app here.

5. No timecode input? No problem!

Our range of timecode solutions extends to devices without a timecode input. For example, if you’re using a DSLR we can provide a workaround by embedding timecode in to the audio track of the camera. Check out our DSLR recommendation here.

6. We sell a range of cables and accessories

We offer a wide selection of custom cables and accessories, including pouches and covers to protect and mount your units. Browse and buy the range here.

7. We offer end-to-end exceptional TCS service

Not only is our knowledgeable sales team on hand to advise you about our products, but we also house a dedicated support team to help you after the purchase is made. You can contact them by submitting a ticket to [email protected].

8. Try out our FAQ section

If you’re looking for a quick answer to a product-related question, it’s highly likely that it’s stored in our FAQ database. Why not give it a try?

9. There are many ways to get hold of our kit

You can purchase our products from a host of international dealers, or through our online shop, which ships to customers in the UK, Europe and North America. If we don’t sell to a country you’re in, our sales team can help. Drop them a line at [email protected].
