overview
An extremely accurate and stable TCXO is the key to this compact timecode and genlock generator, ensuring that even when free running the mini rx would only drift around 0.2 frames in a 24 hour period from other units. However, the built in RF receiver allows the mini rx to be constantly soft-locked to the long range RF signal from any Timecode Systems unit transmitting as a ‘master clock’.

Fail safe
If the mini rx goes out of range from the Timecode Systems RF ‘master clock’, it will seamlessly continue to generate rock solid timecode and genlock from its internal generator.
As soon as the mini rx picks up the RF signal once more, it will automatically ‘soft lock’ to the master clock. All under the hood. All whilst still feeding the camera ultra stable timecode and genlock.

Don’t worry about location. Every Timecode Systems product comes pre-programmed with 14 licence free international channels within the sub GHz ISM bands.
These frequency bands are well away from the congested 2.4GHz WiFi and Bluetooth bands, allow for greater range using less power and tend cope with obstacles more effectively.
